INTRODUCTIONRS-422 Repeater and Amplifier

IPEX PH422REPi™ is a RS-422 Repeater and Amplifier. If it is needed to have RS-422 network with more than 1200m length or to have more than 32 nodes, using a PH422REPi™ helps you to increase the network length up to 2400m and also to have up to 64 devices connected to it. PH422REPi™ is compatible with RS-422 standard devices differential TX+, TX-, RX+ and RX- signals and is fully Plug & Play. It works with a wide range of +10V up to +30V DC power supply with low (about 45mA) consumption. PH422REPi™ is designed for industrial usage and is useful for Industrial Automation, Telecommunications, SCADA Systems, and DCS Systems …
Protection against Surge, ESD and EMI is considered in its design and also has 3kV isolation between RS-422 sides. PH422REPi™ is Full-Duplex converter and supports Point-to-Point and Multidrop RS-422 network topologies.
