Y Series Devices
The Y series of industrial interfaces manufactured by IP Electronix are Repeater, Amplifier and Isolator for data transmission in RS-232, RS-485, RS-422 standards.
This series supports 300bps to 230400bps Baud-Rate, and by adding them to the RS-232, RS-485 and RS-422 communication paths, they can be very effective in removing noise and amplifying the signal. Also, in Y12 and Y14 models, a serial line can be divided into two or four separate isolated branches.
With the Y Series products, the length of the RS-232 lines can be increased to at least 30m, and for the RS-485 and RS-422 can be increased up to 2400m, and more devices can be connected to one RS-485 line.
These converters work with a wide range of power supply from + 8V to + 48V and for all models and also, there is a 12V adapter with each of them.
3kV optical and electrical insulation for each port, as well as protection against lightning, electric and electromagnetic shocks, as well as the removal of electromagnetic noise, are provided in the design of these converters. These specifications make the E Series the choice for use in industrial automation, telecommunication systems, SCADA systems, DCS systems and the like.
PH232Y11
RS-232/TTL USART Repeater & Isolator
Introduction
IP Electronix PH232Y11 is a Bi-Directional RS-232/TTL UART Repeater and Isolator and Amplifier. It works with Baud-Rate from 300bps to 230400bps. This device adds up to 3kV optical and electrical insulation between the two RS-232 sides, which eliminates noise from the RS-232 path. Also, if a length of more than 15m is required for the RS-232 line, by adding one PH232Y11, the length of the RS-232 cable can be increased up to at least 30m, i.e., 15m meters on each side. Also, due to having the TTL ports, PH232Y11 can be connected directly to a microcontroller system.
Protection against Surge, ESD and EMI is considered in its design and also there is 3kV Electrical and Optical insulation between RS-232/TTL UART sides.

IP Electronix PH232Y12 is a 1 to 2 RS-232 HUB that provides #2 RS-232 (Full Duplex) ports from one single RS-232 port. It works with Baud-Rate from 300bps to 230400bps. Using this device, you can connect a RS-232 line, to 2 different devices.
PH232Y12 can also be used as a RS-232 Repeater, Amplifier and Y-Switch. All communications are Full-Duplex. Introduction
IP Electronix PH232T485Y11 is a Bi-Directional RS-232/TTL UART to RS-485 and RS-422 Converter that converts RxD & TxD signals of RS-232 standard to differential (Data+ & Data-) signals of RS-485 standard and (RX+, RX- & TX+, TX-) signals of RS-422 standard at a same time. It works with Baud-Rate from 300bps to 230400bps
Since RS-485 is a Half-Duplex standard, switching between Transmit and Receive is done automatically and further signals (such as RTS) are not required. PH232T485Y11 supports Point-to-Point and Point-to-Multi Point Party Line network topologies.
